Sambal Matah is one of typical sauce from Bali

Sanbal Matah is one of the favorite sauces for Balinese, especially for the one who likes spicy food. Balinese food is kind of spicy food compare than other food in Indonesia.

Sambal Matah has a very tempting taste for Balinese. It is normally served to accompany grilled chicken as they match each other. Whenever we talk about grilled chicken (ayam panggang) it is automatically appear in mind of Balinese people to have it together with Sambal Matah.

Sambal Matah is very easy to prepare and takes 5 minutes until its ready to eat. Sambal Matah means fresh chili sauce that is made of chili pepper, shallot, lemon grass, shrimp paste, and dash of coconut oil. All the ingredients sliced and chopped together and then mixed and added a dash of coconut oil.
